By using this website, all website users accept these terms & conditions.

Payments

Online payments can be made using debit and credit cards, Apple Pay and PayPal. After payment, all customers will receive an email acknowledging the purchase. Customers who experience online payment difficulties can place orders through email, by emailing hello@donnaburns.co.uk

Bespoke & Commission

We are happy to discuss bespoke orders with customers, to start the conversation, please email Donna: hello@donnaburns.co.uk

For this service we require a 50% deposit as a confirmation of your order. At this point the order cannot be cancelled. The outstanding balance will need to be paid before dispatch. Payments can be made by debit or credit card and bank transfer. Products remain the property of Donna Burns until full payment is received.

Shipping

Christmas 2023 Shipping

To ensure items are received in time for Christmas, the last posting day using Royal Mail Special Delivery will be Wednesday 20th December 2023.

All Donna Burns Jewellery pieces are handmade to order in her studio in Cornwall, some items are kept in stock but others will need time to be made and sent away for hallmarking, so please allow 3 - 4 weeks for completion and delivery of your order. Please contact us to inquire if a faster delivery time is possible before placing an order, some items may be held in stock.

Online purchases incur postage charges that vary according to the shipping address:

All UK orders include free shipping and are dispatched through Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked/Signed For and Special Delivery, which aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.
European & International orders incur a charge of £12 and are dispatched through Royal Mail that aims to reach its destination within 5-7 working days.

International delivery is the responsibility of the postal service in the destination country and Donna Burns cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the local country postal service or customs checks. Any customs charges incurred are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Orders are dispatched in a plain unbranded envelope. The jewellery is protected by acid free tissue paper and packaged in a Donna Burns Jewellery branded box. Gift wrapping is available on request - please leave a note at check out.

Returns & Refunds

Great care is taken to create handmade jewellery that can be cherished, if for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please contact Donna quoting the order number: hello@donnaburns.co.uk

Jewellery items can be returned for an exchange or refund, if returned within 14 days of receipt of the item, provided they have not been worn, damaged or altered in any way. Jewellery should be returned in the original packaging, and it is recommended to use the Royal Mail Special Delivery service, which provides tracking and insurance for the item/s. The cost of return delivery will be at the customer's expense, unless there was a fault with the item sent. Donna Burns Jewellery cannot accept responsibility for items damaged or lost in transit from the customer.

Refunds will be paid within 30 days of receipt of the returned item.

Bespoke & specially commissioned jewellery, is non-returnable.

Warranty & Repairs

We provide a 1 year warranty on all items from the date of purchase. Please contact us if you experience any problems with your purchase, we will do our best to keep our customers happy. We can carry out repairs if it is deemed necessary.

This warranty excludes general wear and tear, such as scratches to the surface or damage from misuse. For advice on the best way to care for your jewellery purchase, please see our Jewellery Care information.

Jewellery finishes can change with use over time, which can add to the unique charm of a piece. The oxidised finish on jewellery will wear away, especially on areas that come into contact with the skin or clothes. Items can be returned for re-oxidising, for a small fee, please contact Donna if you wish to use this service: hello@donnaburns.co.uk

Products Description

All sizes mentioned on the website are accurate within reason. All Donna Burns jewellery is individually handmade, so no two pieces are exactly the same. The items you receive will be unique and vary slightly from those in the photographs. All materials used are as mentioned. Donna Burns reserves the right to update product descriptions at any time.
